Stargate Atlantis Pegasus Logo Rotating Screen Saver

For the first time to my knowledge a professional representation of the SGA Pegasus Screen Saver has been created. There have been a number of attempts in the past by many people to perfect this animated logo in the form of an SCR file. This is the first version to truly represent the design and is as close as it gets, you wont get any closer for the simple fact this animation was the exact one used by the production team and for the first time ever you get to check it out on your own desk top....

An Exact Video Recording Taken From This Screen Saver

As we all know, SCR and Theme websites are generally full of malware and for every single screensaver comes 1 worm, 1 trojan and 10 random virus (all within the initial download) the worms & the trojans download more, while the basic viruses keep your anti-virus busy. So in short i can't trust uploading it to those types of websites.

Due to Zero Funding (And I Want NO Donations) I will be using a Free mediafire account
(if you need help with using mediafire, ask a friend) nothing to install, no sign up needed
Just be sure to use the correct button to download the file, they depend on advertising, so don't be misled by other options upon the page...

This Screen Saver Is Available In The Following DeskTop Sizes
(will work on others, but may have boarders)
Ideally you run an SCR full screen so all the screen is refreshing,
having a wide-screen animation with static black boarders isn't healthy for your display.

If  People Want Other Specific Sizes?
Sorry I Am No Longer Making These..

Q) How Do I Know What Size I Need For My System?
A) See The Help Under The Listed Screen Savers Here

Q) Why RAR Files?  why not ZIP?
A) Most web servers get infected at some stage, that then is passed onto files upon the server
SCR files ar very easy to infect so i used WinRAR because It Locks the archive
(its NOT password-ed)  Its just locked so it can't be modified or altered... safer for you..

This has no sound, so ticking it is irrelevant, you will notice however that Enable Multi-monitor support is greyed out, don't worry that is not a shareware or license only feature. The reason it is greyed out is the system i took the screen shot on doesn't support mixed displays. If yours does then this screen saver will show up on all connected displays, if you tick the box to enable it on your system.

To access this box you just "Right Click" on the SCR file and select "Config"

To Install This SCR so it can be selected within the windows desktop properties, "Right Click" on the SCR and select "Install"

THIS MUST NEVER BE SOLD UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

Screen Saver Was Seen In Stargate Atlantis Season 2, Episode 17, Coup D'etat, 7.24 Minuets into it and also used in Season 2, Episode 20, Allies, 13 Minuets Into The Episode, If you know of any other episodes its shown on?, please post below if you can name any.

Thanks to "TheWraith517" for making this SCR so we could share it with you

Here is how they did this in the show and how the scr was made.
The GFX team designed the custom screens as animations and then provided them animations as  MOV files  (apple quick time videos)  Another team then created Flash player EXE files (that worked on various tablets like the Acronis)  The downside is often these interactive looking displays where Multiple mov files loaded by 1 EXE,  and the flash controls within the exe (flash player) would Position the varied mov files on the screen it was sized for (so different boxes could also change on cue around a main item that is looping)

So at this stage in the production what floats around is the  MOV files and the Flash Exe's to position them, not the 3DS, the max file or any other types of mesh. The main 3D objects used to render the MOV files are probably still in company hands, the MOV files these days are in public hands.  But all's you can do with a single MOV (which is what this specific logo was) is give it a container that loads it.  For the SCR files, he chose to turn the MOV animation into an SWF (changing the users need from "quick time video" into "flash" instead) Windows comes with flash, so why force a user to need quicktime. This has no embedded control's, so any flash version will allow it to load, this will probably even run on a mac with the right tweak to support SCR and flash. When asked about why no ambiance (sound) he states "most people who are dumb blame something else, they read nothing and moan, trolling like that makes things look fake. So if i use an MP3 i have moaning as their sound card was in use by another process while musics playing back and the screen saver kicks in, same if i use a wav, people will just act like my SCR is bad because their system can't multi-task Audio"  So that explains why he left out the base ambiance, because stupid people make a good deed look crap.

    1. Sadly no, this wasn't made all within one piece of software, the SCR its self is just a mere container for the final SWF file.
